150 miles of water !!
« on: November 16, 2019, 07:55:55 AM »
I got to the acient sacred spot at 530am , better things to do than sleep I geuss ,, alllllll alone , " aaaahhhh "" at 630am that was quickly ended by some pickled fool and his two kids !!!! ,,, It's a long walk from the entry to where I'm at but u can see me from the entry , the clown srts waveing at me from the first site of me , is this someone I no ? Absugulooooly not ! There's alot of bank area between me and him but jeeeeeze ! He keeps getting closer , instructing his kids how to carry everything but the beer he has in his hand , finnaly it's evident good mornings are about to be exchanged so I put away my breakfast bar and said hello , DAMIT ! As we talk his kids start setting up ! O. M. G. !!! Dad doesn't have a pole but he's got a lot to say,,,,,,,,!! And FINALLY the reason I'm here has come knocking , I realed in a nice 3lb rainbow and suddenly Ive lost all sanity gaining peace n quiet to the constant burp , belch , n fart of this guy and the pleasantness of his distant instruction to the kids of how to fish , I soon got another nice fish , Wich I can't figger is a good or bad thing at this point , so now I figger this is how it's gunna be so I just kept fishing n listening to this hillariouse pathetic fatherly subject ,and remembered a great part of fishing !!! KIDS !!! ,SO I started to help them get set up correctly , and in less than a hour they both had fish , the best part of that was the excited awakening of out cold daddy , to show him what they got 🤣🤣😂😅 , so he wakes up and a few minutes later he says hey thanks for the help , ya sure ,, then he just makes my day ,,, he says hey ! How close are we to Roosevelt lake ? My emmediate and sorry to say hillariouse response was ,, OH ABOUT A FOOT N A HALF !! ,dam he didn't even laff , just laid back down and went to sleep , I had great time with the kids , untill I got a hook stuck in freegn jaws ,that's jumping and going nuts , then gets off cuz of dragging the kids poles n lines around , 150 miles of water and forced to father two kids and got Tangled in two poles , WOW ! BUT IT WAS VERY ENTERTAINING TO SAY THE LEAST ! Geuss kids dad don't agree with my sleeping theory heck he didn't even bring a pole , just the end to a long night I geuss , but he did get the kids to a babysitter before he went to bed 😂🤣😅😄😃

I remember fishing a productive half mile of beach on LR all the time and most times people would set up 200+ yards away but sometimes you get THAT guy  :chuckle:

That was nice to help the kids
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Well done Cryder. I hope those kids remember your help more than they remember their fathers failure on that day.

Thank you Cryder for helping those kids, it might have been an inconvenience for your fishing trip that day, but i guarantee you, those kids will never forget the time "that guy helped us catch those fish"   as for the father....wow piece of work by the sounds of it, and to make matters worse is that he was out driving on the road, and with his children...

Agree with all the comments, save for....at least the dad took his kids fishing. Which is more than I can say for some "dads".
And not sticking up for this guy, but I know some well intentioned and actually "involved" dads that couldn't put a worm on a hook if they tried. My brother in law comes to mind.
Cept if he has too many beers, the stink eye from my wife's sister (his wife) straightens him right up!
