Turn in my application to the state tommorow for the placard finally got my application back from my doctor at the VA. Don’t think it will help as far as access.

By far the best turkey population is the NE corner of the state. There are also turkeys in the SE corner of the state, but fewer numbers than the NE & more spread apart. I've been looking for them down there, but haven't figured it out, yet. I used to get a turkey 50% of the time in an area of the Colockum, but since the fire there several years ago, the turkeys left and didn't come back. I suspect they're down lower on the private, so I don't go back there, anymore.

If you go to the NE part of the sate and knock on doors you will most likely get access.  Call the WDFW office out the in Spokane Valley to either the bio or the nusiance coordinator.  They should get you info to farms that allows hunting.  If you want to stay closer.  Chelan at the orchards.  Talk with farms.  They are nusinace birds there to.

Did you get your daughter out? Wish I had seen this sooner. I have been tracking a lot of birds in klickitat. If your out tomorrow and see this let me know. I'll send you a dm with my number. I'll be out roosting birds with my daughters but they arent hunting yet. Curiosity scouting a new area that has good bird numbers from what I've seen so far.

Or some secret spots in 117. Spring hunting can be a grind. A lot of henned up toms the last several years. Time of day is key in 117.

I just pulled into camp 1 hour ago. 6 Toms in full strut across the canyon. 1 hen walked by below camp. I haven’t even started glassing yet. We are in Rio country just north of Davenport. We have about 6000 acres. If you want to hunt private land? Send me a private message. Scott
