I’m buying a 17 hornet and I’m wondering if anyone has one? Or any other .17 Centerfire for that matter? What have you shot with them? Accuracy? Please share experience and opinions
I've got the wsm and love it

I believe that’s a rimfire 🤷‍♂️
yes,I. Didn't catch the centerfield part

I have been shooting a 17 Remington for probably 10-12 years now. I shoot the 20 grain hornady zombie max bullets at 4196 fps.  Flattens coyotes.  Less runaways than my 223's.  Vaporizes pigeons!

I plan to use mine for squirrels, and tight cover coyotes.

If I go East for coyotes, and plan to save pelts, I take my 17 Remington.  They go ker-flop, and have an itty bitty entrance hole and never an exit.  That little pill just explodes inside.  They do have a limited range though...makes you a better caller to get them closer.

There is a couple things I don't like about the 17 Rem though;  if you have big paws...reloading sucks!  Also, brass is hard to find.  I had a really good shooting upper on an AR, and sold it because I hate brass catchers on a calling rifle, and so I lost more brass than I found.

Love all the 17's for Sage Rats!
