Lead Pourers

I’m looking for someone that pours their own weights. I do not have the equipment anymore. However I was on a demo job a while back and now have 19-26lb blocks of clean lead. I have been pricing out the equipment and searching for sale sights. Then I thought I would rather connect with someone (or someone’s) that has the equipment and share some of this lead. I would like to pour some cannon balls, pyramids, bananas, some flats. It would be one of those things were let’s have coffee or a beer and pour some lead! Sounds fun right? Lol anyways if you’re interested let me know. I live in Tacoma, don’t mind driving a bit with reasonable means.......thanks for reading and Happy Thanksgiving

I pour fishing sinkers, bottom walkers and duck decoy weights but I'm a tad east of you.

What type of sinkers? Do you have any molds for what I’m looking for? As far as the decoy weights. If your interested I would provide the lead and labor. If you are willing to accommodate me on a duck trip sometime. I know, I know this sounds pretty one sided😉

Depending on how big the chunks you have are, you can get into pouring pretty easily and affordably.  I use this to pour decoy j weights with a mold I bought on eBay for $20.  I heat it on a simple propane camp stove and stir it with an old spoon.

I have been scanning the web and other outlets looking for pouring gear. The thing is, is that after I pour more than what I will use. I will then have this equipment. I don’t want to have to store it etc... Also I would like to share. Everything can be more enjoyable with people that have the same interest. I’m not looking to make money, off of this. Only looking to share something I already got paid by my employer to haul off site. If it wasn’t for this I would be buying little bits of what I need when needed. Thank you for the link though. What size are your lead blocks?


I've been eyeballing the Lyman starter kit this past week.   My lead bullet supply is getting low, and the Beartooth lead times are long so have contemplated just pouring my own bullets.  Been pricing bullet moulds lately.   Could do some sinkers as well. But I'm probably a few months out from being set up for it. 


If the blocks are huge, might not fit in that little Lyman.   Would have to cut them.

I'm curious about your amount of lead.  Is it blocks that weigh between 19-26 lbs each?  Those are big and may require melting down into ingots in order to fit in the usual pots that hold up to 20 lbs of lead.
