Sadly....as I pine away looking at a soon to be outdated unnamed ragged sorry excuse for a calendar.......  ;)

Quit yer whining.

Your Muley calendar was ordered the same day as mine.

And besides, you already got a 2020 calendar.

Gifted one to the father in law for Christmas, he was very impressed!! Was so excited to see great mule deer. He has hunted black tail and elk most of his life. Had to stop archery after first shoulder surgery, had to stop all after second but he loves to pictures! Think it has him wondering if reduced loads will be a possibility for him next year. Brother in law live in Walla Walla and he may just give it another go!! Thanks Doug for a great calendar and sharing your work with us.

Maybe he could qualify for a disabled crossbow permit?  Even if not, he could use one during modern.  Might be just the ticket for a guy with a jacked up shoulder.

What an awesome post! Thank you for putting the idea out there Bango!!! I really appreciate you thinking of another avenue for a guy to stay in the woods!

He looked into it and his Doc said no problem but we have been focusing on getting the grandkids there deer recently. If we could still bait like to old days I would totally set him up at our place in Okanogan. He has not pursued it farther than asking the questions, but he usually goes one weekend with us up north then south with the other grandson down south. He so far is just loving being there as the kids continue the tradition. We have so few deer I do not want to see him spend the money on a new weapon if I cannot deliver. He is always welcome with us in whatever capacity he wants to go. He has sat stand with both my kids and the nephew. He was in camp when my daughter and son got their first deer, fun memories!! If I can get the right place over by you he will be making the trip with us for sure!!

I’m glad he enjoyed it, and that it might have inspired him even.   Cool idea and I’m glad he is pursuing it.

Thank you.   A couple of those places have come up.  Some good prospects have popped up in really nice places.    We absolutely love our home and what we have going there, kids in college etc.   it’s on the table though, mostly because it’s our chance to escape Washington.

Wow, sorry man but as one door closes another one opens.  I am sure you will land on your feet.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Sorry to hear that.  That's always tough, such a hard change so quickly.  Come work in Grand Coulee, we are always looking for people  :chuckle:

In the mean time, enjoy a well deserved vacation :fishin:
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
