Best WiFi Cameras
« on: November 21, 2019, 07:36:52 AM »
I have WiFi at my cabin and am considering getting a camera that transfers over wifi (as opposed to cell signal). Anyone have any WiFi cameras that they like / have had good experiences with?

So are you thinking of like a remote Wi Fi camera that then goes to a security system? This is the only way i have seen something like that setup.
Additionally Wi Fi signal wont get you very far away from your router. mostly line of site over distance but with a strong router and  correct placement you may do pretty good.

Costco has WIFI cameras that work real well. I bought two form my home $100.00 each. The camera directs you to their web site to down load app.
Check out HOMEHAWK.

I have looked at what is happening at my place as far away as Idaho.
I have never ran out of storage. Had up to 30 days backed up before I cleared it. But it has never been full yet.
Pick up ,sound, motion, heat, programable too.

No fees.

That HomeHawk system looks promising. I know Google has a similar system. The area I'm looking to monitor is only about 50 yards from my router (if that).
