Was a little shell shocked driving down the road and found this guy just grazing away.
The cow was about 3/4 mile down the road.

I lived in Walla Walla for a few years and twice saw them in town. Once by the country club and the second time on the highway near the the dump. Always cool to be surprised by them.

There was a young bull in the middle of town in Pomeroy a couple years ago.

Been in WW for 15+ years, seems about 10 years ago they’ve become a regular sighting from just outside town up to Kendal skyline towards Godman.

Ditto on the Panjab trailhead - had one in there during elk season a few years ago, hung around the whole season in that general area....

Theres getting to be a lot in the blues, I saw 2 different bulls this year around godman, and have trail cam pics on a cow in the rainwater, and know guys that were seeing them during elk season. Moose tracks almost everywhere you look too. Maybe one of these years we'll see some tags getting handed out

Back around 1993 we were delivering Firewood up around Mill Creek out of Walla Walla and the people had a Cow and calf moose hanging around their place.
