Best women’s hunting and hiking boot ?
« on: November 23, 2019, 08:54:31 AM »
Wife wants to get into the hunting and hiking more and would like some nice boots for Christmas.   Looking for advice on some boots for her.  Need to be lightweight, comfortable, waterproof and look snappy.  I’m not a fan of the danners as I’ve had a couple pairs of the low end boots fall apart.  I bought the meindi a while back and love them but they only seem to have one size in women’s?  Budget around $300.  Thanks

Cabelas is closing out the Meindl line. You might call different stores and see if they have her size. I've had a store ship me boots before that I couldn't find online in my size.

Might take a look at Lowa Renegades.

Crispi womens Summit is right around $300 I know Blackovis sells them and they might have a black Friday sale or a discount code you could use.

And they look snappy!

Sportsmans Warehouse carries the hunting models of Zamberlan's, but here is the hiking model that REI and other stores carry:

I use the men's version of this boot for all of my backcountry hunting and hiking/backpacking.  Very comfortable and waterproof. Have lasted me many years.

Thanks for the replies.  Researching some you guys suggested.   I’ve had a lot of conversations about boots before but how they looked never was a factor before  :dunno:
