First Split 2019 Video - SE Louisiana
« on: December 12, 2019, 08:00:51 AM »
This is some video from the first split of 2019 SE Louisiana duck season.  What I have on film is from one of our 3 man blinds in a big open pond on our lease.  As all of you know it has been a very slow first split.  In the past a video like this could be done from the action of one weekend.  Now it takes the whole split to get what I have.

Hopefully we will have a better second split.

Nice blind. With duck numbers being up why so slow in LA? Is this a long term trend?

Cool vid! Great looking spot! I kinda miss the split season we used to have here back when duck numbers were low. That 2nd opener in November was always bangin! Hope your 2nd season turns around!

Glad yall enjoyed the video and the sights.  Bases on the last aerial survey done we have 1 million ducks in the state of Louisiana.  Normally we have 2 million.  So, we have half the ducks and the half we have are scattered because we have had a good amount of rain.  Not looking good for the home team.

No matter how many we have we still hunt.  Can't shoot them from the house.  Got to go to know....
