spring/summer walleye

I want to take the family camping and fish for walleye on the Columbia.  Kids are little, so I'm looking for lots of fish.  I don't care to trophy hunt.  Obviously big fish are great but I care more about keeping kids busy.  I know that you can catch dozens if you know what you're doing.

Where and when are good locations?  PMs always welcome.
