I thought the drawing was last week, but I do not know for sure.

i thought this year was a different type of draw. I assumed they over drew and then it was on a first come first serve basis.  :dunno: might be wrong.

That was approved yesterday and it will start next year.  Oh yea, F&W told the commisson that they intend to up the permit levels dramatically in the next few years as a revenue stream.

Great. It's all about money instead of game management.  :bdid:

Money equals game management...everybody is a critic.

I spoke to the wdfw friday and he said the redraw for the left over tags has been completed. He said they are double checking names and numbers to make sure they have them correct, and they will post them asap. He also said there was about 65 elk tags(a lot less than I thought) that did not get purchased the first go round. I hope one of those 65 has my wild id number on it, good luck everyone!

Of course it's all about the money.  It's always been about the money.  All those elk and deer are just a bunch of $$$$ running around not a natural resource.  Just look at the poor quality of hunting we have and you can see that.  It's all about selling tags and nothing else.  They wont admit it but that is their goal.  How can we sell the most amount of tags.
