Russian Olives and bears

So I was bird hunting this last weekend in Central WA and I came upon an area with heavy Bear activity.  There was bear scat everywhere and it was filled with Russian Olive seeds.  The bears had been knocking down branches and eating the olives off the branches. 

I would like to stake this area out next season.  Does anyone know when Russian Olives ripen?  I am assuming this place only sees bears when the olives are ready for the bears to harvest!  I would assume that is the late August/Early sept timeframe.

Mine are in October in the Wenas.

Interesting.  I did not know that!

I probably was not clear enough in my post (sorry!) 

I found the ranges on-line.  Was looking for more localized data for when they go ripe.  October is perfect timing Boneaddict!
