What's a reasonable price for a mount like this? Just bought it cuz it came up and looked good. The guy said it was a bighorn and he shot it in North Idaho! Lol... It has a pin that say's BC and a four digit number to follow on its horn in the back. I was pretty sure it was a Fannin or Stone sheep. Never seen a bighorn with a white head!

BC is British Columbia and it’s the same concept as our bighorns getting plugged by our biologists. It’s absolutely not a bighorn and it definitely wasn’t killed anywhere in Idaho. You might even be able to trace those 4 digits back to the details of when/where it was killed.

I was just explaining what the guy told me. I knew it was not a Bighorn after seeing it in person and I know it wasn't from North Idaho. He ran a car repair shop and from what I gathered he probably collected all his stuff from repair deals that couldn't be paid for so he took taxidermy in trade and was unfortunately lying about shooting them himself. Look up University Place taxidermy on Craigslist... He's selling tons of stuff. Some cool mounts if you want something to hang in a shop or stairwell. Lots of ducks for $50. Full Buffalo head mount for $800. Looks really good in person.
