Wife's Elk Mount is Home
« on: December 30, 2019, 08:52:21 AM »
Got my wife's Elk home and on the wall. Not sure how long she will let me keep it in the house before she moves it to the rec room. Many thanks to those who were so much help on the adventure.

Great looking bull and mount. What’s the story on the mule deer?

Wow just plain wow!  Congrats to you and your wife.  It appears you need a bigger house if your going to keep that stuff up!

Thank you everyone. Dave Jones in Olympia did the mount. The mule deer was taken by my wife in 2015 on a Quality tag here in Washington. The deer scores 216 2/8 nets 211 5/8. I posted it back then. She wrote an article for Eastman's hunting Journal and it was published in the March 2016 Mule Deer issue. Many people from this site played roles in her success. Happy New Year to all

Wholly moly

They were nice enough to pull over and let me admire it for about 15 minutes on their drive home.  I tried not to drool directly on it

That buck has everything:  height, width, mass, droppers, stickers, blading.    I'm pretty sure I've never seen a buck that big on the hoof.

And then she follows it up with this WHOPPER BULL....

amazing.

Congratulations again.

It looks awesome.
