I lucked int a deal  with a metal recycling guy a few years back.  Bought all he had.  Paid like 8 bucks a pound.

CMMG makes some very sweet Uppers, for $1000+  It better shot 0.5 MOA with “factory” 5.7 ammo,  :chuckle:

I’ve got the Ruger 5.7. Nice gun, very accurate.

Downside is the trigger reset. I’ve taken up the slack of the trigger safety but didn’t pull then released- it sometimes then clicks and the trigger safety will not depress again unless you rack the slide. Really like the cartridge and the pistol otherwise.

They do make an after market trigger for the ruger. My dad put one in his and likes it.
