Someone has to have the pics?  I saw them in the slough yesterday at first light, drove to Walla Walla and then came back and they were still there.  One pretty good bull, it was quite the sight seeing them standing in the water and fog.  I didn't count them but there must have been 12 or so bulls?

There are some on FB Tri-Cities Waterfowlers page about 15 or so. The post is called Elk at Whitetail Bay. I don't know if you have to be a member or not to view them.

I couldn't find anything but I'm not on Fakebook.  I know there has to be someone who has pics, it was quite impressive.

  • Look at me I'm blowing a duck call!
I almost crashed when I saw them. Pretty dang cool thing to see. Second time I have seen bulls in that Whitetail Bay. I have some pictures but I'm at work. There were 10 bulls by my count.

Wind was blowing really hard and there are lots of duck hunters out there. I am guessing they got scared and ran out there to be safe. They were there most of the day.

Not far from there some guys from work were placing cable over the hills and found a huge bull dying from a wound. They came back after the weekend and it was dead laying in the ravine over the hill from them I guess, they followed the smell to find him, a few days later they said someone took the antlers off it. Guess it had serious mass....

I too was wondering why they were there.  They didn't seem too spooked in the water, they were sparring and walking back and forth in the water a 100 yards too and fro, I didn't see them feeding on anything.  I was wondering if it was dogs or wolves or something.  I would have thought that they would be used to duck hunters by now.   :dunno:  I know that there were wolves on the hills above touchet.

It seemed that they wanted nothing to do with the shore and they were there for at least a few hours from first light when I first went by.

Was that yesterday Gramps?  It seems like a different view than I had?

They were all Bulls yesterday, at least a dozen, I didn't actually count them.

  • Getting skunked beats doing yard work!
I saw 10 bulls in there yesterday. My cell phone pics are bad but didn’t have anything else. Wife took a short video I’ll ask her if it’s any good and post if so.
I agree they didn’t want nothing to do with the shoreline. I’m betting it’s predators that drove them there. That includes people with guns. 🤬Hopefully they stay away from the roads and disappear
