Stanley ID
« on: January 06, 2020, 12:23:19 PM »
So I'm taking the family and a buddy's family on a little getaway to Stanley next may. A quick look indicates a general spring bear tag can be had there and lots of public available. Anyone know anything about bears in the area? Would.be kinda cool to hunt a little but don't really wanna bail on the family for a day or three to find out there's nothing there. Any helps appreciated thanks.

Bears yes.
Take some popcorn and molasses.
Hike in 500 yards and lay it on a ridge.
Love on family for a couple days and return to shoot bear from a distance.
Might take a couple trys???
