Lake Roosevelt Burbot.
« on: January 05, 2020, 06:31:49 PM »
I would like to give this fishery a try. I know it starts getting good in the winter. I've only fished for walleys  here. Any info, tips etc would be greatly appreciated. Don't know much about the species other then the video put out by WDFW. Thanks!

Just a suggestion:  you've probably already done this anyway, but check You-Tube.

Craig was real good about trying to help us learn how to get after the walleye out there so we could.go after them on our own but we ended up just booking again with him this year lol id head out for a trip with him he will get you lined up.

Anyone been down to Roosevelt lately that can say how the launches look? I want to fish there next weekend with the warm weather and see what we can find. I heard from a buddy there was a guy at Fort Spokane that recently slid on the ice at the ramp, jack knifed his trailer and dropped the boat on the launch.

Wow that sucks! Doesn't look like the greatest day to launch a boat though. What kind of boat was it?
