I know some will think this is an awful idea but I really want to get a Marlin 336 and put a Midwest M-lok rail on it. Kind of an old meets new blend.

Probably made it a lot lighter.👍

that and I just think they look cool! Plus you could add a Bipod to it which I think is just awesome!

It see a lot of value in attaching a light to a lever gun. Great camp gun set up.

1895 GS for you Marlin 45-70 fans.  It has a WWG big loop lever and trigger and the sights are the XS ghost ring and post.

I need about 4 more.  .22 LR, .44 Mag, .357, and 30-30.

Did someone say levergun?  :hello:

My go-to, an 1895SRC in .30-06, this was my saddle gun for bears while working in Montana this fall.

Same rifle as above, sometimes dumb horses happen to good rifles. This was epoxied back together and was back in service in a few days.

My Mirokus:
1873 .44-40
92 Trapper .45 Colt
71 Carbine .348 WCF
1895SRC .30-06
Bottom two are 1895SRC .30-40 Krags

My Trappers, 16" 94 .30-30, 92 .45 and 336 .30-30:

Truck gun/middle of the night what's making noise at the barn gun :

Again with the 1895's because they are my favorite.

Of course there are others I no longer have pictures of and dont get put much. My Savage 99 needs to be hunted with agin. My Marlin .45-70 sits at home with nothing to do. Etc.

Hawk I’m jealous. An impressive collection. And riding in Montana all summer while toting a rifle?  You’re a lucky man.

Unfortunately I wasnt able to be there all summer but a good portion of it at least. September was my favorite.

A scabbard for an 1894 Winchester also works great for an 1895, fyi.

My old Savage .250-3000 and my 2018 blacktail.  The rifle was handed down to me and was in rough shape when I got it.  I stripped it down, re-blued, sanded down and re-stained the stock etc.  I have grown to really love this gun.

Nice buck, polarbear.

I just have a pic of a doe with my 250-3000.
I got it from my father in law and he bought it new in the 60's.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Strange. Nothing in recycle and nothing in the mod log about any action taken to remove anything.
