Karbon Merino wool crews at Costco in Marysville
« on: January 15, 2020, 08:42:23 PM »
Picked up 3 of these today. $9.97/e. Lightweight units, seem like they're probably the 145 gram weight but they don't say. Only had light gray and blue available.

Nice, I'll have to pick a few up.  Great price unless a guy is into matching proprietary camo patterns.   :chuckle:

I picked one up a couple Months ago when they were $20. So far it’s worked out well! I’d say it’s about 150, definitely thinner/lighter than my icebreaker 200. It was worth the $20, so $10 is a steal!

It's only good if they change the pattern every couple of years.  Otherwise you could simply use them until they wear out which is not good.

I know right? God forbid I wear my pants to threadbare and have to burn them in the back yard with a stiff drink while shedding a single tear. Or something like that...

Light wool baselayers are the best, but I find they get runs or holey elbows pretty quickly so I load the boat when I find them for under 20 bucks.   I hate going to Costco but may run over to Issaquah to see if they have some.

I bought a couple at the Lacey Costco last year, not a bad buy for 20 bucks. They didn’t have them at all this year...
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I stopped by Smokey Point tonight and they were all gone.
When I pass, do not let my wife sell the guns for what I told her they cost.
