Wolf Hunting in Idaho - mp3s needed
« on: January 16, 2020, 10:16:35 AM »
Hey Guys,

Going on a 4 day wolf hunt in Idaho at the end of Feb.  We've been in contact with F4WM to get some beginning tips.  They've suggested electronic calls with the lone wolf howl and the wolf pup distress.  I think I'm set on the howl, but would like to find a good wolf pup (or general canine pup if I can't find wolf) distress sound.  Anyone have one of these mp3s laying around that they'd be willing to send my way?  Or for a foxpro call?

Anyone have advice?  I think we'll be somewhere between Unit 6, 7, 9, but haven't totally nailed our spot down.  It'll also serve as a preliminary scouting trip for new elk hunting area for us...

Thanks, Stang

We've got a Japanese Mini Truck with snow tracks.  We should be fairly unstoppable.  Any recommendations?

Yeah, exactly.

I'll see if I can get a pic from him, but those are the same, minus color.

Hopefully I can post a pic with a dead wolf and the mini truck.

He's now got a tool box in the back with some high seats and a gun rack with a high lift jack mounted.  It has 3 mounting locations for a small winch (front, back and top of cab) that runs with a wireless remote.  Inside has heat.

It really is redneck bliss.  He's got some tractor lookin tires for when the snow isn't out.
