Buffalo hunt
« on: January 18, 2020, 08:45:39 AM »
My 81 yr old father decided he wants to kill a buffalo.  Anybody have info on different options.  Cow, young bull probably.  I did see where Bearpaw has a Montana hunt.  Anybody with any info willing to share?  Dave

There was a guy on here selling them a while back.  I would just google it, you will find many options to shoot a ranch bison.

Bearpaw would be my go-to if I was in the market.

Another option...Ekalaka, Montana...Crazy women’s buffalo ranch. My son and a good friend went and harvested 3 really nice 2 year old bulls. He had a skinner that did a great job. It is only a few miles out of Ekalaka.  We each harvested around 450 hanging pounds of bison.  Had the hide tanned, skull cleaned, head mounted.  Just a tip...bring it all back and get the work done by your favorite taxi...not their favorite taxi.
