Lesson learned

Calling just after daylight on Saturday morning. Ran through about an hour of calls and was getting cold sitting in the snow. An eagle and several ravens thought the calls were ok and came in to look. Waited 10 minutes then got up and started back toward the truck. You guessed it, coyote watching me from the road where he was on his way down to where I had been calling. I guess I will sit a little longer on a quiet still morning next time.

That's a super long set! We try to call 15-30 min. Usually if they are coming, its within that time frame
I wouldn't let yourself get fooled by randomness!
