On Tuesdays and Sundays 😆 @Skillet got a good look at my freezer recently, pretty much just red meat these days unfortunately. I'm heavily reliant on him for my seafood fix. 😐

On that note, a few high school float trips. I'd tow the boat to school and leave after lunch to go to "running start". Caught a lot of fish my junior and senior year. Luckily my grandpa was a willing and able partner. When I look at these pictures the things that strikes me are 1: that I remember the plug or lure that each of these fish was caught on, the hole, time of day, everything. I can remember virtually every detail nearly 20 years later. And #2: I can see the fire in my eyes. This was the time I was really learning steelhead fishing in leaps and bounds. It was this time that set me up for my future of guiding and then post guiding taking people out because it was fun.
