Those look like dollys to me. The spots are what give it away.

They're either Dolly Vardon or Bull Trout. There are both in this system. I can't tell the difference but a biologist may be able to.

This is not me, but thought I'd share.

82# dressed (gills and guts removed) king salmon landed in Sitka during the 2002 season.   It was sold by the commercial fisherman to my Co-op, then promptly stolen from them that night.

Nobody ever found out what happened to it.

Last salmon trip my brother and I had with Dad.
Small charter that we had been out with before.  He was on the wrong side of the channel marker on our way out in the fog and we ran aground as the tide was going out.  Spent several hours waiting for the tide to change.
It never changes, but it is always different.
