Yeah, might look into that.  Its intriguing.  I'd never heard of it before you posted it here.  Spendy, but looks comfy and sounds like there's no reason it shouldn't be warm.  However, I've yet to get cold on an inflatable so it might not be necessary for me... Creative idea though!

You're right I was looking at the exped 9 when I quoted 2lb 9.3 ounces.  So 2lb 4ounces for the 7.

Holy heck, that's quite the pad! I'd use one of those on a base camp cot but no way I'm packing 3 LBs of pad into the backcountry.  My xtra wide/long Nemo Tensor works just fine and dandy and weighs less than half that

I was about to commit to that desert walker cot at 2.8 lbs if it had been comfortable.  lb for lb that mattress is going to be 3x better.  Not saying I want to, but anyone would get a great night sleep on that thing.  For 2x the weight of typical mattress, it could be worth it if you wake up in pain.  Good sleep is critical when I'm hiking/hunting.

If I were hunting with camp on my back, then I'd probably reevaluate or if it was just a simple overnighter.   But for 3 days or something... YEAHHHH! that might be the ticket.

Maybe you should look at the thermarest ultra light. I am a taller fella and ordered the longer and wider one. Or wait until I post a review. Maybe its just that I am getting older and a pansy.

You went with the best choice in my opinion. You can get knockoffs on ebay for $50ish, but they're shorter which rule them out for me.  Your only other real option in my eyes was the Helinox. I'd still stick with the Thermarest.
