Are any of you seeing any spikes? And if so how many?
Was there today for 1:30 feeding. Volunteer said yesterdays count 385 head. Last week 450+. Maybe 8 spikes seen. Two big bodied boys that have shed their headgear. Not many bulls but about 4 dandy 6X6's. The guy said they are cutting back on feed. Only one feed truck going out daily now and no ride along truck today. Big bunch of elk stayed way up on the hill and didnt come down at feed time.

I glassed quite a few elk up around 4,000ft yesterday. Always a win for the critters when they don't have to fall back on man to survive winter even though it makes the viewing at oak creek a bit lame
