Perfect timing for this question. I just mounted up this week a Leupold FX-II scout scope in quick detatch rings from Wild West Guns. Sweet setup.
What light do you have on your setup here and how do you like it?

tgray sorry I missed your question.

The light is a Surefire Scout. It was an expensive light but it's capability is very impressive.  It's the only weapon light I own.  I've had it for many years and move it around to different guns as needed. It's mounted on the 1895 using the Wild West Guns rail which was a cinch to install.
The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

tgray, it looks awesome. I like such night hunting and everything I've been looking for in last few months is thermal scope. Have been visited dozens of websites, but this one is the most relative to this sphere ( website: https://www.agmglobalvision.com/thermal-imaging/thermal-clip-on-systems ). It has thermal clip on systems for any type of rifle, with all kinds of options.
