Hang in there Mike, we are pulling for you. I wish I could help but the bus leaves for Montana Friday for two weeks. I think you should put Ken to work for you.

Mike, how is the ankle? Do you have backup help? If not, give my bro a call, he is always up for a hunt.

Dan, I'm in a splint but that will be coming off as soon as I leave for the Chiwawa Thursday night. The foot is feeling pretty good, but I have been on crutches and will be until Thursday. The foot is swollen and black and blue but feels pretty good. I will feel better if the snow flys up high! Talked to Monte today (had to have the oil changed before this weekend) Good luck to you guys!

P.S. I know your "Bro" is always up for a good hunt! Great guy. We miss hunting with him.

No worries man, I've actually been seeing a lot of deer down lower and the bucks are constantly checking the does in the morning/evenings... should bust loose any day now!

I will also be hunting the Chiwawa the 9/18th. We will be in trailers down on the mad river road in one of the open spots we can get. Feel free to stop by if you need help. Dan.

Lemondog, Good luck to you. I will be with my son who is probably more excited than I am (if that's possible) We will be in a 06 navy blue Dodge 4x4 Quad cab. Maybe we'll see ya up there! Keep your fingers crossed for snow and hope there's no fog!
