Superbowl Sunday - Redfish & Bass Video
« on: February 04, 2020, 08:28:26 AM »
We had a strong northwest wind on Saturday with tide falling all day draining the marsh out pretty good in SE Louisiana.  Typically fishing the next day is tough with usually dirty water conditions but for some reason on Superbowl Sunday the water was low but clean.  We got into the redfish and bass using mostly a gold spoon with a few caught on a spinner bait.  Real good action once we found them.

We went down there fishing for Redfish for the first time the week before.  Went on a charter trip, and had a blast!  None of us had ever fished for Redfish, so our guide had to show us everything.  They're really good eating, and have the toughest hide I've ever seen on a fish!

Ha, awesome!!!  Happy to hear you had a good time down here and the guide did a good job for you.  There is a lot to do in the delta you just have to go get it.
