Take a screenshot of the picture on your phone, and post the screenshot. Works everytime.

I'm telling you, something has been changed and it SUCKS!!!!  I never had to resize or take a photo of a photo to post before, posted tons of pics in the past with no problems, now!!!  I hardly even try anymore, would have posted more pics on different subjects that come up but its just not worth it.  I get tired of bugging Josh or others to post my pics for me, mods, can you fix this????  This isn't just one guy bitching, I see it more and more on here.  Thanks.  text me your shed pic please, you have my number!!

Really this isn't a mod issue.  We don't have control on how the forum software works.  Plus phones now are taking higher resolution photos so the size is larger meaning the amount of space it takes up on the server.  I am sure @bearpaw can explain a bit more.

I agree with you the new phones probably take much better pics with bigger size, that makes sense.  But I haven't had a new phone for years and it used to post pics fine.

Simplest way for me to resize pics is to text pic to myself then  save the pic to phone from the text. It will be automatically be resized .

Totally get that I was just saying in general that could be why there is more complaints about it.  I think there was a change on the server software a while back after numerous crashes due to storage issues and the biggest storage is the size of pictures.  So I believe what was done is to have smaller sized pictures to be uploaded to the server to allow the server to run more efficiently and have less crashes. Like I said we as moderators have no control over this and can not make changes.

Thanks for the explanation, makes sense now.  Just wish it wasn’t so.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
