There may be a code or plugin that sets a max image size and adjusts image size for posters automatically... if theres not someone smarter than me should make one.

I did the same pic 3 times. One of each of the dimensions in the pic. I think when you’re using a photo hosting site, photos post easier from whatever size you want. Attachments require the dimensions to be more correct for lack of a better word.
