RANT, posting photos on here sucks anymore!!!!

I know people say resize them, or take a photo of a photo, but it never used to be so hard to post pics on this site.  WTH happened?  Can't we fix this?  I see more and more people complaining that they can't post pics, no, this isn't a game changer, but it's such a pain in the arse.  signed,  Frustrated....

I’m glad it works for you and prob many others, all I’m saying is something has changed and it’s not working the same for some.  I’m glad you know how to resize too, some of us are not computer geeks.

Did you get a new phone or a new camera that you're trying to post images from?

Its just a free app on my android phone. There are a few that can be downloaded. You just select what pics you want to resize and what size you want them to be. I usually go 50%. You will have your original pic and the new resized one saved in your files/gallery folder.

I have not, same phone for years.  It’s weird, sometimes I can post pics, most times I can’t.  Really started around October for me.

An app called "photo & picture resizer" is free and simple.  Solves the problem.

Yup - easy button, and for sure eliminates any possibility of meta data revealing Geo-location tags, should you forget to turn that off. 

We did do an exercise here on HW and found that images uploaded to HW do not contain geo tags anyways, or at least we weren't smart enough to get it to work

I e-mail photos from my phone and it asks what size I want them.  I choose medium, save to computer and post with no resizing and it works every time.
