Best one I’ve used is the streamlight protac hl3. Pair that with an attachment that hooks up to your ar 15 rail.

I bought a Cyclops unit from Cabela's. It was $129.00 at the time and I still use it in some scenarios. I also own night vision and thermal.

Check out Wicked Lights very affordable. I've been using the A48 ambush light in red lense . Been very happy with it.

Cant go wrong with wicked for gun mounted. I have 3 of them atm and they all have served me well.

If you are looking for a handheld. light force there is no better light period.

All depends on so many factors. With a white light zoomed in 300 is very doable. IMHO no one should be shooting past that at night. You will get about 250 with green and 200 on red. Cloud cover or clear skies is a factor as well. I have sold about 30 of them and never heard a complaint about them and have had many a predator in them.

Tagging.  Are you using these to scan or just a kill light?

Well good question,  I have a hay field behind the house and its 900 + yards to the fence and I've seen reflective eyes when zoomed out near the fence . Not that i would take a shot that far away..With using wide angle maybe out to 250.

not so sure about that. You ever used the Larson electronics. Never seen any other handheld compare to it.
