What will this big boy score??
« on: April 07, 2009, 04:05:07 PM »
My friend got this muley in E.WA a few years ago. Any guesses on what it scores? Look how white the deer's face is. He shot and missed (buck fever) once before he connected at under 100 yards with his 7mm rem mag.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

need another angle at that one side, but by what I think I am seeing, quite well.  Nice deep forks.  Very symmetrical too, that is if what I am seeing is what is there at that angle.

Sorry Bone, that is the only pic I have. I strongly urged him to mount that buck, but no money going threw his devorce at the time. He put the antlers on a do it your self antler plaque.

beuatiful buck from the basin, I'm going to put him at 170+, not sure if he would hit 180 but he might come close.

Big enough to shoot!  Like said before, difficult to judge just one angle like that, I'd be pretty confident of a 160+ buck.

172"... nice forks, the curving of the mainbeams are a little decieving, the guards will help him out.  A solid 170" buck in my book but I'll stick with 172" gross.

Nice buck!  Very symmetrical.  Id say 165 gross (hard to tell the width).

C-money, What part of E. WA. did the buck come from? Just the general area, don't get too specific.

My enitial though was 165 . Hard to make a valid guess without a side shot. I really think he will be about 172 gross give or take. Well see if my gut was closer than my actual thinking  ;)

First time I would go higher on a buck than alot of folks.  He has a 150ish type frame and mass, but his tine length is oftly decieving and I bet he closes in on 170, with Sliders score being just about perf.  and in this case net and gross would be about the same.   That there would have been one hell of a buck in two years.

That is a neat looking buck, good mass and those symmetrical fronts are awesome.  I'd say he is a solid 160" buck.

Man I must be gettin good if I guessed the same as Charlie! haha

I know WACatHunter brought his entiat buck to the MDF banquet and I was only 1/8" off on gross score before it was officially scored!   ;) :P

Charlie, I'm not sure if we'll get an official score or not, sounded to me like C-money was just wanting some estimates...   :dunno:
