I have used the low power ones in my dummy launcher. Not sure if I want to use a heavy load.

When I was training thats all I used. The brown ones are all you will need. Yellows will swell in your chambers.

I saw a video once where a guy took .22 cal pellets (for an air rifle) and used an L shaped allen wrench to push them through the chamber and into the threads on the barrel of his .22.  Then he put those .22 blanks behind them and shot them.  If i remember right the low power one shot the pellet around 1500 fps and the high power blanks launched it at about 3000 fps.  I think he reported that accuracy was pretty poor.

I've thought about trying it myself but never got around to it.

That sounds like a particularly bad idea, but please take a video if you try it!

I use the .22 green blanks in a revolver everyday. I will switch over to .209 primers and a new blank gun but for now the old .22 revolver is doing ok.

Bought a box of brown and yellow, and I'm proud to say my sage didn't even flinch. Business as usual as far as he was concerned.  Thanks for the input gentlemen.
