Winter catfish
« on: February 26, 2020, 08:50:46 PM »
Anyone try vanishing this time of year in the palouse or snake? Was thinking they'd be deep. Heading there this weekend, thoughts or tips would be appreciated!

You can keep the Ice off your Guides by spraying them with "Pam", but where do you find Nightcrawlers this time of year, that haven't lost their wiggle?  :dunno: :chuckle:

I haven't, but I'm not sure what shape the river is in. Sure seems like there was a bunch of driftwood and stained water earlier in the week. Looks like it will be a bit windy tomorrow with Sunday being ok but cooler (48F).

Good luck if you do get out.

I'm no catfish expert but the Snakes water clarity got a whole lot better this past week. Most of junk and drift wood seem to be clear also.
