Yes but remember the States used to honor each others registrations and tabs.   Now its a $ source.   Whats next register your car before entering each state?

Don't like it, don't come to Idaho. Simple.

:yeah:  keep using your quad in WA if you dont like ID rules. Or move and become an ID resident and then dont have to worry about non-resident fees. I'm sure ID residents dont have to pay any fees to use ATVs on public lands haha

As I mentioned before, residents have been buying atv tabs for many years.

Not possible, it's the damn liberal Californians moving there now and ruining Idaho! Idaho was perfect before the $12 non-resident atv fee!!

(All of my post is sarcasm)

I wonder how much $ Idaho gets from hunters/atv users in tourism/hotel etc revenue?  I bet they like that extra $.   Just like Seattle??Its funny the values which Idaho residents so love and show pride in don't matter as long as its "The other guys" and not them.   Imagine if residents in Id had to pay this?   MAn would they be ticked off!   Don't worry Id. if this is how your Gov. is acting now then its proof YOU will be the next one getting taxed to death, like here in Wa.   Its starting and you all are supporting it.  You will be next Wa. state.   Tryst us Wa. guys as we have experienced it already and this is how it all starts.   All those Californification residents are using their voting powers and $ to lobby in your state.  Very sad.

Sad but true.

If you don't want to pay it, leave your atv at home, pretty darn simple!

Both states has mandatory tab requirements already, wa tabs were fine. This is just another pointless tax that some accept because it’s small, some of us see the bigger picture that it’s not about the money.  I will continue to go to Idaho, and I will not be buying a tax stamp in addition to my tabs.

I have decide we should have to stop at toll booths every time we enter a new State and buy their official "Tabs" and maybe even every county or city too?   Heck we will look like those campers with every state they visited stuck on back map of USA!!   I love it.   Great idea.   Socialsim at its best, taxes for whatever ya can think of.   I wonder when snowmobiles and watercraft/boats will be taxed this way? :bash: :bash:

Most people don't want to pay more taxes, I hate all the different little taxes, but quite honestly it's easier to just pay the fee than get heartburn worrying about it, none of us can change the law, either pay or don't ride. I have to buy tabs on about 10 atv/utv's and on about 10 snowmobiles, still it's easier to just pay than get an ulser getting worked up over it. When I'm in Idaho I've usually got a big smile and enjoying it just knowing I'm in a much better managed state for wildlife and where I can ride any roads I want to ride. I don't mind paying to support something good!
