Updated WSTA Winter Rendezvous
« on: March 01, 2020, 11:56:28 PM »
]Thought I would put a reminder up.
Winter Rendezvous
When: Saturday March 14th
Start time 9:00 AM
Where: Thurston County Fairgrounds
3054 Carpenter Road
Lacey, WA
Sokoliek Building

We will be serving lunch in the building and with the concerns about spreading flu we have arranged for an additional hand washing station in the building. Please practice good hygiene to avoid spreading anything going around.
There will be CITES tagging and we will be holding a sealed bid fur auction.
Got something you don't need anymore especially trapping stuff? Bring it along and we will sell it to help finance the Association.
Good stuff in the raffle as always.
Hope to see you there!

The Demos have been canceled, Miss Rodeo is not coming. We plan on still have the fur auction , CITES tagging and FHA pickup. Anything else will kind of depend on how many people show up. Lunch is ordered so if there is low turnout you make have to take sandwiches home with you..
If you are not feeling well please stay home
It looks like I will not be there so if you have skunks for me I will come up with some kind of pick up plan later.

Thanks to everyone who attended and brought fur to the Rendezvous. The WSTA certianly understands why some choose to stay home. Based on the circumstances I believe we had a great showing with 29 Lots of fur. I hope the association chooses to continue having a fur sale in years to come

I believe this is the first WSTA fur sale in over a decade. I included some of the averages.

Muskrats $2.95

Mink $8

Otter $33.85

Bobcat $87
(No Sale)

Castor $61.80

Beaver $11.16
