My son and I walked into Dumbbell today-caught a nice mess of fish.  We pretty much bathed ourselves in Off and Ben's and didn't get bit much.  Mosquitoes are brutal which is pretty much par for the course if you want to be up there this time of year.  Not much wind blowing across the lake which is usually good for keeping the skeeters away.  Nice mayfly hatch got the fish worked up pretty good, too.  Lots of elk behind Dog Lake where we came in.

We went into Dumbell Lake in July and spent a few days. The mosquitos were relentless. I have also been there is mid-August and they were not near as bad.

The fish were pretty large this year. We also saw a heard of elk just before dark come down and bath in the Lake.
