Howdy!
I'm a newer hunter looking to cut my teeth on a gobbler this spring. Hoping to get out there earlier in the season as I'm gettin' hitched in May... Although I'm still trying to talk her into a turkey hunting honeymoon, haha!
I'm out of Olympia, and was thinking Klickitat or Skamania might be my closest best bet? Do you know any landowners with too many turkeys that are driving them crazy? I'd love to have the opportunity to hunt turkey on private land for my first time. I've been eyeing wildlife areas like soda springs but from what I've gleaned on some threads on here it sounds like that gets pretty busy?
If anyone would like to take a noobie under their wing, I've been practicing my diaphragm calls and I'm gonna pattern in the 870 that my pa said had a fixed full choke on it soon. Hopin' to fill a tag for my first time!

Thank you,
-Reed
