3 attempts to call in a bob today.  Nothin.  Not even a yote.  In a bit of a slump.  I think the bobcat thing will be harder than cougar.  Need to just go out and target coyotes for a while maybe, better chance of success.  Get a kill or two, get my confidence back.  Man, theyre sneaky suckers.  Ive seen way more lions and way more wolves than ive ever seen bobcats.  Hell, ive seen more wolves at one time than ive seen bobcats my whole life.

I got one called in today on a dying rabit call. I had no safe shot and buddy missed but they are there. We were going for coyotes but just running rabbit sounds because we wanted to see if we could get a bobcat at the same time and sure did. And he was real close to. I mean 10' maybe. Stared me in the eyes for about 30 seconds too. Absolutely beautiful creature.
