When to hide wing/scent for pointer training?

gauge my gsp is 13 weeks old and pointing to the wing on string really well and retrieves the wing in the house well. when should i start training to point by scent instead of sight?

Its best not to teach them point on sight, these dogs point by Instinct so If the dog comes from good lines it will do this naturally. buy some books on training pointing dogs and I would go to Uplandjournal.com and become a member to their forum Its all about hunting dogs with gobs of info on training and anything you could think of. I myself also have a gsp pup he is 16 weeks old, its amazing how fast they grow!
