If you are in areas that have wolves there is always a slim chance of seeing one, to up your odds keep covering lots of ground until you find an area where wolves are making fresh tracks. Keep in mind they can pick up and move miles in a single night for any reason, most packs hunt over a very wide area, so it's really important to concentrate your efforts in areas with fresh sign and when there is no longer fresh sign in that area cover ground until you find fresh sign again.

We don't know how to consistently kill wolves yet, but we are learning more every year and what everyone is allowed to do is changing for the better nearly every year. I'm hopeful that the lengthened season until the end of June will help this spring, we get trailcam photos of some wolves at our bear baits every year, although they don't consistently come to bear baits, if you are lucky enough to be at the right bait at the right time we hope we can get a wolf or two and help slow the increase in their numbers.
