Montana unit 632 elk

Has anybody on here drawn an elk permit in 632? My old man and I are sitting on 6 elk points each and considering this unit.

You should be almost guaranteed draw for archery ? You probably know but that’s a very well known area. I lived over there when archery was over the counter. So I archery hunted it even back then the bulls had a PhD in elk calls. It’s to open and way too many hunters were just randomly making elk sounds. More of a spot and stalk and some guys I know we’re successful with tree stands. I called one in but usually it was a lot different than your average archery elk hunting. Pm me if you have specific questions. I have had some freinds draw rifle permit over last few years. These are lifetime Montana residents who have hunted that area for decades and they felt the quality of bulls has gone down hill of course that’s all relative and I am sure it’s great compared to some otc units.
