I was hoping to get out and catch some of those "muddy, icky, crab bait planted trout" at Dalton lk. this week but a discovery of mouse damage to the wires under the hood of one of my vehicles has me thinking more about that  >:( What a mess.

I'd like to get out on the Snake above or below Munumental now that its clearing up and hit a few spots. Never really fished it this time of year and curious if i could get anything to bite.

Id like to fish the inlet at Soda lake now that the irrigation water is flowing.

Fix for mice under the hood: Take an old sock and fill it with moth balls, then tie it somewhere under the hood......mice won't come near it!

Again, leave alone, fish alone, stop for nothing, return home. I just don't see a problem right now unless they make the SIP order. Just don't want to run into closed access.

Uh - ya, you have too much time on your hands my friend.  :dunno: :dunno:

Thanks for the input! Talked to a ranger on the phone today and he said everything is open until a SIP is issued and that it actually been pretty busy!

Sounds like a green light situation to me!

My youngest son and I fished a few hours this evening.  Not much action but it got us out of the house.

Wife just mentioned this this am suggesting I be careful. Been fishing a local pond. Stay as far away from everyone as possible. one day it was so packed I turned around and came home. Just hosed my clothes with sawers this am so I can get to where others wont go due to ticks. Wish my boat was running.

Bank or boat? We only got one from the bank, but it was a beautiful day to be there and no one around.

COVID hasn't stopped fishermen on Offut lake it seems. Boat launch has had at least a few trailers every afternoon for a week!

Thinking about heading out, the kids want to take the canoe and I'm thinking about either bank or firing up the boat for the year.  It may be time to troll for the Lake Stevens monster in the next couple of days.

Walla Walla river is still a bust. Trout fishing today was good. I caught a beautiful 1.8 lb rainbow.

The Smallie fishing on Banks today was great, caught a lot of fish on grubs and blade baits in 15 to 30 feet. Fished blade baits in 25 to 35 feet and caught a few big Walleye. Heading back tomorrow and Saturday
