Bear-anoia
« on: April 08, 2009, 06:15:11 PM »
WTH...
I just saw a report on KOMO 4 about a bear near the Sammamish Plateau. Then they went into how to scare a bear away, including standing tall, waving your arms and .. get this...singing jingle bells.

Not sure if it is the same report, but channel 7 told of a large boar photographed yesterday. When they showed up today they filmed a sow with two cubs.

So they are moving and as with every year, the media will make a big deal about them.

don't you need them to be quite a ways north of snoqualmie? like about 25 miles or so?

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
