Won't the private accesses potentially be packed if the wdfw access sites are closed?

Like on potholes, couldn't people launch at Mardon and not the other various places?

 Yes, but the order bans all social, spiritual and recreational activities. I suppose you could get around it if you are solo.

? Better ask our wonderful governor for clarification on his "go outside, hike, bicycle" comments then.

This was right after he told everyone to go outside for recreation, but to maintain social distancing.

 Which is why I said you may get away with it if you are solo. “Gathering” is two or more.

I think it is about time they shut it all down. Two to three weeks out of our lives isn't going to hurt anyone. If it works and slows this virus down we are going to save a lot of lives and people being sick!! People will start getting their jobs back and the economy will eventually get back to where it was.

If everyone keeps travelling from county to county (now) and spreading this virus you are really going to be whining about your rights come August when you can't even leave your house for food. Lets get this crap behind us and move on, I have a bunch of fishing ahead of me this summer that i really need to do

It's supposed to rain for at least a week, probably 1/100 of us were actually going to go out.  I'm getting old and weak, getting wet and cold for 10" of hatchery drag-peeling monsters just doesn't sell well anymore.

No actually it doesn't prove anything,what politicians say to the public on tv don't always match what they tell their employees.

I’m surprised that the WDFW site still hasn’t shown closed hunting and fishing?  Why is this?  Revenue or is it actually being seriously debated?

I wouldn't say loophole really. WDFW closed lands they regulate and I was merely pointing out that it could have the opposite effect that they are probably hoping for by concentrating people at the other accesses.

They could simply shut down fishing seasons if they really wanted to completely stop most people from going fishing.

I think the problem they are trying to stop is a  thaving a bunch of idiots bunched up fishing from shore at the wdfw accesses. I dont see how launching a boat and going out fishing would have any chance at spreading a virus. At least as long as if you have to gas up on the way you wear gloves and keep your distance from others.

Hate to say it but that 2 weeks is getting extended no matter how well we all adhere to it. I am also a proponent of hit it hard and get it over with but I’d put a lot of money on this thing going a month or more
