Its not all that early. Look at these dates. This guy dropped between these 2 pics. Looked and looked, then gave up and stumbled on his left side on the last day of mf elk while doing some last minute scouting for deer. 3 years later a guy i know fibds the other side

Lots of bulls already dropped. Still quite a few still packing. The boy and I have picked up quite a few freshies. To bad the woods are now closed.

Wasn't an assumption it was in a question . I was under the impression that the woods were closed

Went yesterday and found a few browns, I’d say it’s a 50/50 mix of dropped and packing. Obviously the smaller bulls are still holding

Worked all last week in tumble creek up in the mountain. Saw tons of elk including at least 12 bulls all 4pt+, still haven’t dropped

those tame elk hold onto there horns longer. They have a contract with suncadia.
