Easy Homemade Poor Mans Pickled Vegetables
« on: April 06, 2020, 11:02:37 PM »
My Gal's always got to have her "Fresh Claussen's" Kosher Dill Pickles. no others will do!  :twocents: :twocents: :twocents:
But when the jar is empty.....the Jar of Pickle Juice is Mine!
I microwave the Jar of Pickle Juice (without the lid) until it starts to boil, then I stuff the jar with all my favorite Chopped Fresh Veggies...(It slices, it dices, and so much more.... When slicing or dicing onions, the only tears you'll shed are tears of joy.) Carrot's, Radishes, Celery, Pepper's, Cucumber Chips, Etc. until the juice rises back up to the top of the all the veggies.
I screw the lid back on and put the jar back in the fridge. They are ready to eat the next day (or when the Veggies taste "Pickled" enough for you).
You shouldn't have to keep them too long in the fridge as they soon mysteriously disappear, same great "Claussen's flavor but at a great price".   :EAT:
